Originally started by Senator Ross Fitzpatrick in 1986, CedarCreek Estate Winery was then purchased by Anthony von Mandl in 2014. They underwent massive renovations in 2019/2020, building a new circular tasting room and restaurant. This new building mixes new and old, accentuating the breathtaking views the lake. Their state-of-the-art restaurant, HomeBlock, is named after one of their original vineyards.

Their Home Block Vineyard was originally planted in the 1930’s.

Summerhill Pyramid Winery is an organic winery owned by the Cipes family. The family moved from New York in the 1980’s, purchased the land and hand-planted the vines with a vision to produce organically grown sparkling wine grapes. Owner Stephen Cipes strongly believes in the power of sacred geometry. The pyramid at Summerhill is to scale with the Great Pyramid of Egypt, placed at True North and aligned with the Northern Star – every bottle of wine produced spends time aging in the Pyramid.

Summerhill Vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic which allows them to display the Canadian Certified Organic logo on their wine bottles.

With vines dating back to 1927, Tantalus Vineyards has a rich history as one of the valley’s premier properties. Their stunning new facility was built in 2010 and was awarded the title of BC’s first LEED-Certified (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) winery. Their 180 degree view of the valley is perfectly paired with a cool glass of Riesling on a hot Okanagan summer day.

Tantalus Vineyards was originally know as “Pioneer Vineyards” and was the site of the first table grapes in the Okanagan, planted in 1927.

The Gebert family opened St. Hubertus in 1992, but their vines date back to 1928. With a Swiss Alpine feel, St. Hubertus believes in minimal intervention during the winemaking process. Their vineyards are 100% organic and estate grown and they have a wide portfolio of wines for you to enjoy.
Did You Know?
In 2003 Kelowna was devastated by the Okanagan Mountain Park Fire. The winery and several buildings were destroyed, along with all of the grapes in their vineyard. Thankfully, a building storing their bottled wines was saved.

Another one of the original wineries in Kelowna, Sperling Vineyards was started by the Sperling Family back in 1925. They are 100% certified organic and have some of the oldest Foch and Riesling vines in the valley. They have a fun family farm feeling at the winery and encourage you to explore the vineyards and enjoy their outdoor picnic tables.
Did You Know?
Sperling has a “Labyrinth” of vines in a circular pattern that guests are welcome to wander through. This is symbolic of a “journey to our own center & back again out into the world”.
