Their “Woops” white wine received the honour of “Best White Wine in the World” beverage competition in Geneva Switzerland in 2013 – they thought that they were entering the “Label” competition!

Tucked deep in the orchards of South East Kelowna The View Winery & Wards Cider allows you to enjoy both wine & cider tastings for a refreshing stop. The property was originally planted with fresh market apples back in the mid 1990’s before they transitioned to cider apples and vines. It is a 5th Generation, Family-owned operations with their tasting room in the historic 1922 Ward family apple packing house.

The serve up delicious “Cocktail Ciders” like their Wards Sangria – the perfect blend of apples and grapes!

“Wow – I wish I lived here”, is often the first thought walking up to the impressive home that is Kitsch Wines. The tasting and production area of the winery are both located in the garage area of the Family home. The Winery sits on a former historical Apple orchard that was once home to the Kelowna Land and Orchards (KLO) headquarters.

Owners Trent & Ria Kitsch purchased the property in 2010 after they sold their wildly successful (and comfortable!) underwear company, SAXX.

Named Best New Winery in 2012, and #7 Top 10 small wineries in Canada, Spearhead is a picturesque winery is nestled amongst their vines and barrels. Winemaker, Grant Stanley, began his career in New Zealand where he honed the art of Pinot Noir making. In 2003 he moved to the Okanagan Valley and brought his talents to Spearhead.
Did You Know?
Spearhead is best known for their Pinot Noir and have multiple clones of pinot noir grapes that make for very complex and delicious wines. They even produce a White Pinot Noir!

Pinot Noir Saddle Block
Priest Creek Family Estate Winery is one of the newest wineries on the Southeast Kelowna Wine Route. Built on historic land, once farmed by Father Pandosy’s Mission in the 1800’s, the Priest Creek Family Estate Winery was purchase in 2015 by the Sawin family. Darren, Jane and their young sons worked hard to swap out the table grapes by hand planting Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay to accompany the 25 year old Gewurztraminer vines already in the vineyard.

Priest Creek is named after the creek that runs behind the property and into Mission Creek where, legend has is, Father Pandosy planted the first wine grapes in Kelowna.

Convillas or Pinot Noir
The vineyard’s name, Meadow Vista, was chosen to reflect the picturesque landscape of the surrounding meadows and the stunning views of the valley from the winery’s hilltop location. The Wong family carefully selected the site for their vineyard, choosing a location with a unique microclimate that would allow them to grow a variety of grapes and produce.
Did You Know?
They use bees as part of their sustainable farming practices. The winery is home to over 50 beehives, which help with pollination and contribute to the production of honey that is used in some of their wines.
