Quails’ Gate Winery has been family farmed by the Stewart family since 1956. Both their wine tasting room and award-winning restaurant, Old Vines Restaurant, feature panoramic views of the Okanagan Lake. Guests are welcome to wonder freely throughout the vineyards which make for some of the best picture ops around! You can also purchase a bottle of wine from the tasting room and enjoy it outside in their picnic areas.
Did You Know?
Quails’ Gate has some of the oldest, and only, Maréchal Foch (a hybrid French red wine grape) vines in the valley.

Mt. Boucherie’s new 15000 sq ft Wine Experience Centre opened in 2020 which features a tasting room and delicious restaurant, The Modest Butcher. Wine tasting experience can be either indoors or outside with their patio just steps away from the vineyard.

Mt. Boucherie got its name from the extinct volcano you can see from the winery.

If you’ve ever wanted to pick grapes, come to Rollingdale during harvest season (late August to early October) and they’d be thrilled to have you pick grapes with their team.

Affectionately know as the ‘microbrewery of wineries’ the hatch (spelled without any capitals), the tasting room has eclectic antiques scattered around the refurbished orchard workshop. Their fun music and young, knowledgeable staff truly set a laidback mood while you enjoy your wine tasting.

A sister-winery to the hatch, and Crown & Thieves, Blackswift is a newly opened winery on the West Kelowna Wine Trail. Their tasting room, The Nest, is perfectly situated to enjoy views of the Lake as well as their production facility. They have a pet-friendly patio and picnic area for you to enjoy your tastings and often have local food trucks onsite.

Crown & Thieves is the newest winery in the family of wineries by winemaker Jason Parkes. The winery was built to resemble on old-world 4 storey ruin from the outside with a speakeasy, gangster vibe on the inside. Décor inside ranges from a Renaissance style to early to mid 1900’s. Make sure to pay special attention to the amazing ceiling mural as well as the scoundrel portraits.

Crown & Thieves Scoundrels Punch
The Paynter family have lived in the Okanagan for over 100 years. Their certified organic, family-owned 5th generation winery is literally off the grid. Their tasting room is a straw bale building, powered by solar panels on the roof. Not only can you enjoy their lovely wines, but you can also walk around the property and visit with the animals (goats, sheep, chickens, bunnies and Kenneth the Turkey) or enjoy a bite to eat at their Food truck.
